About Community Wellness and Education

Using data-driven, evidence based practices, the Goshen Health Community Wellness and Education (CWE) team works in collaboration with internal and external community partners to lead the creation and implementation of innovative education and wellness programs that impact the identified health needs of the community.

We are committed to creating a healthier community by helping people stay well through:

  • Increasing Access to Care

Our programs include:

Health Screening Events – CWE offers a variety of free and/or low-cost health screenings to the community throughout the year. Patients can call 574-364-2496 to find out about upcoming events or to schedule an appointment.

THRIVE! – THRIVE meets the first Tuesday of each month from 11:00 AM to Noon at the Greencroft Community Center in Goshen. Every month features a new speaker and new health/wellness topic. Free and open to the public. No registration required. Patients can get more information by calling 574- 364-2496 or visiting

Special Events - CWE organizes and offers community events that impact the health needs of the community. Call 364-2496 or visit to find out what is coming up near you.

Blood Drives – Blood drives are hosted throughout the year at the hospital. Open to both Colleagues and the community. Visit for information about the next event.

Run the Halls – a school-based program to increase physical activity opportunities for students.

Health and Wellness Presentations – CWE can offer a variety of health and wellness presentations to help patients lead a healthier lifestyle.
